2011/2012 Meadow Hay
		Available now - 2011 &2012 crop Meadow Hay in standard and low input organic-type grades. We produce hay from our own land, enabling high levels of crop care, right through from cutting the previous crop. We apply minimal levels of fertiliser to ensure a balanced level of sugars, proteins and roughage -ideal for the equine market, and equally good for sheep, cattle, goats, and even rabbits! The Organic type hay currently available was made from zero input river meadows that have not been fertilised in over 25 years (if ever). Whilst not certified organic, the resulting hay speaks for itself. We work hard to produce good dense bales of around 23kgs per bale, to ensure you get value for money and because they stack and transport much more easily than loose "contractors bales". Whilst our bales are certainly not the cheapest available per bale, you will find that per kilo, we offer some of the best value for money in the Midlands. Produced in 2011 and 2012, our current stock is available now, for collection, or delivery throughout the Midlands. We can usually deliver well within a week of ordering, in quantities of 40 or more. Deliveries up to 150 bales are by Van and Trailer. Larger orders are delivered by Tractor and Low Loader (which needs good access). Customers are welcome to visit the farm to view and sample the hay. Analysis of the crops can be made available for viewing by customers. Visits, to view or buy, strictly by appointment only.
