A little background on Mill Farm Ashorne... Purchased in 2009 by the Gardner family, Mill Farm once comprised part of the Pilkington Estate. It is a predominantly grassland farm, previously used to graze sheep and cattle and to produce hay. Since purchasing the farm, the Gardners have worked hard to improve the grassland in order to produce hay suitable for the high end of the equine market, and to support their own and customer horses. |

The family have been involved in farming for generations, but until their move to Ashorne the current family had not earnt their living from the industry directly. That's now all changed! With both Agricultural and Equine businesses growing fast as Mill Farm, the family have gone back to their grass roots... |
